Cash Removed From Vault to Aid DrugBuy

KEY WEST, Fla. - (03/07/05) -- A Keys FCU employee was chargedFriday with stealing $6,000 from the credit union's vault lastMonday and Tuesday to so she could help her boyfriend buy crackcocaine. Nineteen-year-old Holly Spettel originally told policecash was missing because she accidentally gave a member $10,000 inerror for a $5,000 withdrawal. Police later arrested Spettel's23-year-old boyfriend and charged him with grand theft.
