Checking Program Aims AtRehabilitation

APPLETON, Wis. - (03/07/05) -- Three area credit unions have joinedseven banks and the University of Wisconsin to create a programaimed at helping scofflaw consumers regain their checking accountprivileges. The Get Checking program will help consumers who havelost their checking accounts because of credit abuses open newchecking accounts. Participating credit unions includeCitizensFirst CU, Community First CU and Unison CU.
