The National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) recently issued $257,500 in disbursements through the Community Investment Fund (CIF). Third quarter allocations bring the NCUF's total disbursements to $1,573,488 since the fund began.
The NCUF approved nine grants this quarter going to: Latino Community CU, Durham, N.C.; National Community Investment Fund; New York City Financial Network Action Consortium; Atlanta Cooperative Development Corporation; Alternatives FCU, Ithaca, N.Y.; Food Processors CU, Modesto, Calif.; CUNA & Affiliates; Campus CU Council , and Community of Hope FCU, Jamestown, N.Y.
Separately, it added it is growing closer to its goal of raising $400 million for the CIF by year-end, and $1 billion by the end of 2004.
