Below are the winners of the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council's (CMBDC) Best Practices Awards, which were presented at the group's annual meeting here. The winners were:
* Business development-Rivermark Community CU in Beaverton, Ore., which was recognized for deepening its SEG relationships by offering a Lunch & Learn seminar program. Presenting the winning entry on behalf of Rivermark was VP-Marketing Lesley Carrell.
* Public/community relations-Pennsylvania State Employees CU in Harrisburg, Penn., which was recognized for using a number of sponsorship opportunities to demonstrate its support to the community. Presenting its winning entry was Administrator of Public Relations Margaret Delmonico.
* Public/community relations-Chocolate Bayou Community FCU in Alvin, Texas, which showed its dedication and support of the large Hispanic population through initiatives in the credit union and the community as a whole. Its presentation was done by Lynette Webb Rambo, vice president of marketing.
