SDCU Holds Contest For Charity

EVERGREEN PARK, Ill.-South Division Credit Union named Fred Kreil the winner of its essay competition, which resulted in a $275 donation to Habitat for Humanity.

In additional news, SDCU donated coats, hats, gloves and boots to the Christmas Care program, which benefits needy families in Worth Township.

EECU Gives $35,000 To Charities

FRESNO, Calif.-In December Educational Employees Credit Union donated a total of $35,000 to: Central California Forum on Refugee Affairs, KVPR-FM89 Scholarships, Fresno African American Museum, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Fresno Philharmonic, State Center Community College Foundation, Special Olympics, and Sequoia Chapter of the CCUL.

In additional news, the credit union established a management trainee program to provide future managers for leadership positions at the credit union. Joe Lopez, Carlos Romero, and Emily Stacey were accepted into the trainee program.

FSUCU Hosts Holiday Dinner

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-The Tallahassee Chapter of Credit Unions held its annual Holiday Dinner, hosted by Florida State University Credit Union. The dinner included a stocking contest, which benefited the Children's Home Society. Donations to the charity included toys, toiletries, and a monetary gift from a raffle.

UTFCU Helps Tornado Victims

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.-UT Federal Credit Union donated clothing and supplies to assist families in the rebuilding process after a recent tornado that swept through its community. The credit union delivered beanie toy dogs to a all children at Petros-Joyner Elementary School.
