WALLINGFORD, Conn.-Constitution State Corporate CU donated 100 specific gift wishes to help Connecticut's Shoreline Association for the Retarded and Handicapped.

Michiana CU Delivers Christmas Bears

ELKHART, Ind.-Michiana Credit Union delivered Christmas bears to children in the pediatric units of elkhart General Hospital, Goshen Hospital, Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and other local organizations.

Wescom CU Delivers 1,000 Gifts

PASADENA, Calif.-Wescom Credit Union collected and delivered 1,000 Christmas gifts to the Grace Center shelter for victims of domestic violence.

SFFCU Helps Fight Breast Cancer

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-San Francisco Federal Credit Union participated in a five-mile walk in Golden Gate Park and raised more than $5,000 to help fight breast cancer.

In additional news, the credit union made a donation to Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly, which sponsored a Christmas dinner for 600 senior citizens.

San Francisco FCU's Community Share Team announced that it raised more than $20,000 in donations to the San Francisco community during the last quarter of 2003. More than half was donated to human service organizations, and the remainder supported recreational centers, medical, and educational issues.

SSFCU Helps Feed The Hungry

SAN ANTONIO, Texas-Security Service Federal Credit Union partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to sponsor a food drive to help feed needy families in the area.

COFCU Offers Financial Counseling

LAS VEGAS-Community One Federal Credit Union has partnered with BALANCE, which provides its members financial counseling services.

The credit union is also offering teenagers a financial program called CU Succeed. Features include monthly statements to teach the importance of financial management, quarterly newspapers and a special website.

During the holidays, Community One FCU donated turkeys and gift baskets to the families of 10 Gibson Middle School students. Three students at Gibson Middle School received $25 and art supplies for their holiday card designs.

The credit union also participated in Southern Nevada's Adopt A Family Program. Gifts were delivered to nine families during the holidays.

In additional news, Community One helped renovate the Margaret Rose Care Center for low-income seniors. Tasks included wallpapering, painting, replacing blinds, landscaping, cleaning, and electrical work.

OACU Ships Care Packages To Troops

FORT WORTH, Texas-OmniAmerican Credit Union donated $5,000 to help ship 1,500 care packages to U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

MATCU Awards Students Scholarships

MEMPHIS, Tenn.-Memphis Area Teachers' Credit Union will award scholarships for $2,500 to high school seniors or college freshmen who are planning to pursue teaching careers.

T&CFCU Gives Teddy Bears To Kids

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich.-T&C Federal Credit Union presented the children at the Child Abuse and Neglect Center with teddy bears.

T&C's corporate staff also collected new toys for The Daily Oakland Press Program.
