Congressman Helps With Child ID Kits

Congressman Thomas M. Reynolds (R-Buffalo) visited Lancaster FCU last week where he detailed the National Child Identification Program and helped some of the youth in attendance take their fingerprints. The Child ID Program allows parents to take and store their child's fingerprints, and other identifying information, in their own home.

As part of a partnership with the National Child Identification Program, credit unions are showcasing efforts to keep kids safe by distributing more than 80,000 child identification kits during the national political conventions this summer, according to CUNA.
