Cop Survives Parking LotShoot-Out

PHOENIX - (12/15/04) -- A Phoenix police officer survived abullet to the chest during a shoot-out in the Arizona Central CUparking lot Monday night only because he was wearing a bulletproofvest. The officer's partner then shot the assailant to death beforehe could fire again.
