The DFW Credit Union Awareness Council has partnered with the Texas Rangers and will offer discounted tickets for several games throughout the upcoming baseball season. July 10 will be Credit Union Member Night at the game, and Texas league CEO Dick Ensweiler will deliver the first pitch against Toronto. Credit unions on hand will also receive recognition.
The Council will hand out Thunderstix with I (heart) MY CREDIT UNION imprinted on the side to the first 5,000 credit union members who visit the Spring Creek Pavilion before the game. The DFW Awareness Council said it is also seeking out a credit union representative to sing the national anthem.
