HOUSTON - (07/19/060 CU Acceptance Co., a CUSO owned by 12credit unions, said Tuesday it has agreed to offer Auto FinancialGroups Driving Sense vehicle balloon financing product tocredit unions. Driving Sense guarantees the predetermined residualvalue of a vehicle through third-party insurance. That removes therisk of an auto loan to the credit union. The deal calls for CUACto offer Driving Sense at the point-of-salethe dealershipfinance department. CUAC, which is partially owned by CUNA MutualGroup, serves more than 65 credit unions in seven states and hasmore than 1,500 dealer partners.
