ROME - (07/27/05) -- The National CU Foundation will golive Aug. 15 with an online auction of various items availablethrough its website at ncuf.coop. Those interested in donated itemsto be auctioned can visit the site now and click on the link.Approximately a dozen items are currently available for review,according to Executive Director Steve Delfin, who spoke with TheCredit Union Journal during WOCCU's World Conference here. Nofundraising goal has been set for the pilot effort, according toDelfin. The auction will close in September just prior to CUNA'sFuture Forum in San Francisco. All funds raised will go to theNCUF's general fund. Delfin said the Foundation is eager to engagemore people in its activities, especially credit union and vendoremployees.
