CU Rolls Out Direct Deposit App For Business
MidWest Financial Credit Union and its subsidiary operation, UMHS Financial, have launched a Direct Deposit origination program called EZ Pay.
The program allows businesses to use the CU's web-based EZ Pay application to access the national electronic payments system and initiate Direct Deposit services for their employees and reduce their own expenses in the process. Any business can use EZ Pay and does not have to have a previous affiliation with the CU to use this service.
Furthermore, EZ Pay can help them save money on their payroll process-creating and distributing payroll checks can cost anywhere between $.75 and $2.00 per check.
"This is just one more way we're working to help local businesses reduce their expenses and make doing business easier," said COO Lori Verbrugge.
