CU24 Adds POS, Eight CU Clients

Despite being entrenched in a major switch-processor conversion, Credit Union 24 reported that it is growing its credit unions and points of access. In the first quarter of 2006, Credit Union 24 said it added approximately 3,000 new point-of-sale (POS) locations, and has welcomed eight new credit unions to the network. "Even with the resource-intensive conversion process from one switch platform to another, Credit Union 24 has not lost its focus on boosting access and convenience for our member credit unions," said Credit Union 24 CEO Jim Park.

Enrolling in the Credit Union 24 network in the first quarter of 2006 were: Member Services FCU of Little Rock, Ark.; Genuine Parts CU of Norcross, Ga.; Atlanta FCU, Georgia; Southeast Georgia Health System FCU of Brunswick, Ga.; University Health FCU of Augusta, Ga.; Coral Community FCU of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Caprock FCU of Lamesa, Tex.; and Tropicana FCU of Bradenton, Fla.
