Data collected at the National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) website at www.nyib.org shows that credit union financial literacy presentations have reached at least 10,630 more students than in 2005-and that was just days left before the NYIB reporting deadline July 15. Official numbers were not available at press time.
The data reflects 267,599 students reached in 9,107 classroom presentations, compared to 256,969 students in 8,458 presentations made during the 2004-05 academic year.
