DataSafe Release Includes New Features

USERS, Inc., a unit of Fiserv, said its most recent release of its DataSafe core system contains several new software solutions that help credit unions provide faster service, operate more efficiently, and increase revenue. The new release includes:

* Internet Credit Bureau Interface, which enables the credit union to request and receive credit bureau reports in seconds via the Internet to speed and streamline loan origination. The software provides secure connectivity with all major credit bureau services, enables instant online decisions when used with USERS' WebLoan solution, and allows credit unions to reduce expenses by eliminating some modems and communications lines, USERS said.

Courtesy Pay Manager, a flexible tool for setting up and maintaining a courtesy pay program based on the credit union's specific rules for member qualification, overdraft thresholds, and fees.

* Signature Pad/Receipts to Optical, which allows staff to obtain an image of a receipt containing the member's signature (captured via a small-footprint signature pad) and store it within USERS' optical system. Staff can then retrieve, display and print stored receipts from within the teller platform.

Laser Forms e-Signatures, which speeds service and enables "paperless" workflow by taking an electronically- captured member signature and embedding it into every signing location within a PDF document. The PDF documents can be stored within USERS' optical system.

USERS said that additional enhancements to USERS' browser-based Teller Navigator and Lending Navigator solutions and its Internet Banking Suite have also been released.
