Desert Schools FCU Helps Students WithBackpack-to-School

PHOENIX - (08/10/05) -- Employees at Desert Schools FCUpitched in to help needy students by donating 210 backpacks filledwith school supplies, some uniforms and toiletries as part of theCommunities in Schools in Arizona's Supplies 4 Students Program.All of the supplies donated by the credit union's employees will goto students at Balsz Elementary School, a low-income, inner-citypublic school. The $2 billion credit union has partnered with theelementary school on financial literacy awareness.
