Digital FCU Sponsors 'Get Out The Vote'Campaign

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. - (08/22/05) -- Digital FCU has financed thegive-away of a civic videotape to as many as 100 schools in thethird congressional district surrounding its home base. The video,titled, 'The U.S. Congress and You', urges students to participatein elections, and features Rep. James McGovern, serving the thirddistrict, and Tim Garner, president of the credit union. The videosare being distributed to schools nationwide by Committee forCitizen Awareness. Digital FCU has pledged $7,000 over two years todistribute the videos to 68 local schools.
