Earning Rise At Fledgling ATMISO

PONTE VEDRA, Fla. - (08/26/04) -- Global Axcess Corp., which owns andmanages a growing fleet of more than 2,500 ATMs, said net incomefor its second quarter to $366,000, from $197,350 for the sameperiod last year. Revenues for the second quarter rose 18% to $3.1million. Earnings for the first six months of the year almosttripled to $456,000, compared to the first half last year. Thecompany, which provides a co-branding program for credit unions andcommunity banks, said it has agreed to acquire two independent ATMoperators that will add about 250 machines to its fleet.
