MARAMAR, Fla. - (02/28/06) -- Eastern Financial CU has become oneof the first home lenders to use bilingual mortgage documents andeducational brochures developed through a joint initiative withFreddie Mac. The tools, in English and Spanish, are designed toassist lenders increase homeownership among the Spanish-speakingcommunity by reducing the communications barriers to understandingthe mortgage process. The bilingual initiative was conducted withWolters Kluwer Financial Services, parent of BankersSystems.
