MIRAMAR, Fla. - (08/16/05) -- Eastern Financial CU said it asstarted a CUSO, called CU Business Capital LLC, to provide businesslending services to other CUSOs. The new CUSO will offer loanunderwriting, business deposits, cash management, and class toteach credit union executives about commercial lending. EasternFinancial Florida CU, which wholly owns the CUSO, funded it with $3million in capital. The credit union is also seeking equitypartners among other credit unions.
