Eastman Credit Union To Pay $4 MillionExtraordinary Dividend

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - (12/13/05) Eastman Credit Union here has declareda $4 million Extraordinary Dividend that will be paid to EastmanCredit Union (ECU) member-owners in January. The special dividendmarks the ninth consecutive year the credit union has returnedadditional funds to members; $25.6 million of ExtraordinaryDividends has been awarded to eligible ECU member-owners since1998. Our Extraordinary Dividend is based on the amount ofbusiness you have done with ECU within the past year, saidCEO Olan Jones. This rewards those who made the dividendpossible by paying members based on ECU deposit or loan interestthey paid or earned in 2005, Jones explained.
