False Information Secured CULoan

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (11/24/04) -- A federal grand jury handed up anindictment Monday against a Peoples and Employees FCU member forusing false information to obtain $135,000 in loans from the creditunion. Carnelle Rutledge, 30, was charged with bank fraud forallegedly using a false Social Security number and false date ofbirth to get a $10,000 loan in February 2003, then allegedlyfalsifying information to get a $125,000 loan.
