ARLINGTON, Va. - (08/23/05) Expect to see the Federal Reserve Boardhoist the Fed Funds interest rate at every single meeting throughthe end of this year, predicts NAFCU Economist Jeff Taylor. Taylorsuggested that although inflation isn't strongly influencingconsumer behavior, as yet, the Fed will be seeking to curtailinflation through more rate hikes. The continuing wild card in theeconomy, he said, is oil prices.
