First CU said it has implemented iPay Technologies' expedited bill payment services which enables next day payment for urgent bills, like mortgage payments, insurance premiums, or credit cards, that carry significant penalties.
The expedited payment service is priced lower than late payment fees or next-day air packages or delivery services, which are often the only way to ensure that an urgent payment will arrive on time. The $500-million credit union said iPay's system works seamlessly with its online software and the transaction is easy to conduct through its Internet portal.
