MEMPHIS, Tenn. - (03/17/05) -- First South CU has become one of thefirst credit unions to offer its employees tax-deductible healthsavings accounts. The accounts allow individuals to create tax-freeaccounts that must be used to pay for health care expenses. A 2003law enables Credit unions to not only offer HSAs to employees butto offer themselves as depositories for members' HSAs.
