Fiserv Offers Expanded Check FraudServices

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - (05/12/05) -- Fiserv said it has added a new checkfraud detection, FraudGuard Secure Seal Positive Pay, that willallow any size financial institution to offer check fraud servicesto its business customers. Fiserv recently implemented the solutionat Grand Bank in Dallas and plans to roll it out at its 51 checkprocessing facilities across the country. Secure Seal is atechnology that hides issue file data, like payee name, account andcheck number, and dollar amount, on the face of the check. Duringprocessing information from Secure Seal is compared with the checkimage, providing full positive-pay to detect any alterations orcounterfeits.
