Four NCUA Execs Make List Of Highest Paid

Four NCUA officials made a list of the 50 Highest Paid Regulators as assembled by The American Banker, an affiliate of The Credit Union Journal.

James L. Skiles, executive director, was ranked No. 5 on the list with $270,882 in salary. Others on the list included General Counsel Robert Fenner ($248,185), Director of Examination and Insurance David Marquis ($238,798), and Regional Director Edward Dupcak ($214,165).

Officials with the Federal Reserve dominated the list, including New York Fed President Timothy Geithner, who was the top earner at $310,000. The lowest paid person on the Top 50 List, Charles S. Struckmeyer, associate director of the Fed Board, earned $209,700.

NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson's salary of $145,600 tied her with her counterparts at OTS, the FHFB and the SEC. The highest paid regulator is Julie L. Williams, acting comptroller of the currency, who is paid $201,600.
