DAVENPORT, Iowa - (10/18/04) -- A 21-year-old woman who helped herboyfriend commit several area robberies pleaded guilty last week todriving the getaway car after an August 7 hold-up at River CityCommunity CU with her two toddler children in the back seat.Danielle Skrogstad to two counts of second degree theft, one countof conspiracy to commit forcible felony, and two counts of neglectof a dependent person for exposing her kids to a chase after thecredit union robbery. Skrogstad's boyfriend, Christopher Martin,who was also charged with a June 23 armed robbery at IH MississippiValley CU, in Silvis, Ill., is being held in the county jail on$500,000 bond while awaiting trial. After robbing River CityCommunity CU the two led police on a high-speed chase on Interstate80, throwing pieces of evidence, including a gun and bag of cash,from the window as the sped along with the two toddlers in theback.
