CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - (02/25/05) -- Educator CU has funded grants of$500 each to three local teachers to help pay for innovativeprojects. This year's Great Ideas Grants, awarded by the CMCEducation Foundation went to Leo Adames, for "The Literacy Press"writing project at Byrns Darden Elementary School; Ellen Taylor,for the "Amazing Reading Race" at Rossview High School; and RobinMang, for "Using Literacy to Bridge The Gap Between School andHome" at Byrns Darden Elementary School.
