Greylock FCU Breaks Ground With Fed ImageExchange

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - (06/20/05) -- Greylock FCU became the first creditunion in the New England region last week to successfully exchangean outgoing image cash letter, known as FED Forward, with theBoston Federal Reserve, a key step in the complete image-basedexchange of checks. To facilitate the exchange, the credit unionused NCR Corp.'s ImageMark Ncompass system, which is a completeWindows-based, check imaging application. Greylock FCU's systemincludes NCR's iTRAN image-based transports for image capture,along with a long-term image archive. The archive supportsenterprise-wide research capability for all of the credit union'semployees and provides Internet access to those images for thecredit union's members.
