PITTSFIELD, Mass. - (02/06/06) -- Greylock FCU announced last week theSmall Business Administration has granted it preferred lenderstatus, allowing it to approve small business loans without priorSBA approval. The designation will speed up the lending process forthe credit union. The $800 million credit union is the first creditunion in Massachusetts and only the second in New England to obtainpreferred status from the SBA.
