Since introducing an ATM search engine, Hanscom FCU is reporting that frontline staff and members have saved considerable time finding the locations of ATM with LocatorSearch, an online search engine that can quickly find surcharge-free ATMs, deposit-taking ATMs and shared branches in the immediate area.
The credit union's business development team can now visually demonstrate how to easily find Hanscom's 41,000 ATMs nationwide to prospective Select Employee Groups (SEGs). According to Scott Post, Vice President of Marketing for Hanscom FCU, when prospects see the online map with multiple ATM locations popping up on the screen, it becomes a powerful marketing tool showing how prominent access is for their employees.
"It's a tremendous tool," Post said. "We have this incredible value proposition for members but previously we didn't have an easy way to illustrate that message."
In Austin, Texas, United Heritage can use LocatorSearch to search among 190 ATMs in central Texas and 25,000 CO-OP ATMs around the nation. Members enter a zip code or address and can select a five to 50-mile radius to produce a map with directions included.
