COWWW Software, the provider of web-based archiving, retrieval, and document distribution solutions, signed Torrance, Calif.-based Honda Federal Credit Union to use its browser-based COLD (Computer Output to Laser Disk) archiving and document imaging solutions. Honda FCU plans to process and archive all print files electronically and implement electronic retrieval and distribution capabilities.

"These capabilities will save costs for the credit union by reducing physical document storage, operations time, and maintenance," the company said.

Separately, COWWW Software has entered into an alliance with Aurum Technology Inc., a provider of information technology-base solutions, that calls for integrating COWWW's eStatements Plus solution with advanced target marketing capabilities with Aurum's suite of eBanking services. The companies said that Aurum will resell an Aurum-branded version of the e-Statements Plus solution. "Once integrated with Aurum's e-Banking services, COWWW's web-based e-Statements solution will feature convenient, single-sign-on capabilities and embedded hyperlinks that enable financial institutions to provide fast, easy access to monthly account statements, check images, and other related information to their customers," the company said. "It's also designed to help financial institutions enhance their electronic delivery channels, which increases customer loyalty while reducing costs associated with traditional paper statements."
