SAGINAW, Mich. - (01/09/06) A 38-year-old local man was theunwitting getaway driver in a robbery at Team One CU last week. Thedriver thought he was taking an acquaintance to the credit union tocash a check before dropping him off at home, but was pulled overby police shortly afterwards. When police told him the credit unionhad been robbed by his acquaintance he led them to thesuspects home where the suspect was captured. Policearrested Andrew Walker, 33, at his home, where they recovered cashstolen in the hold-up. The unknowing getaway driver was notcharged.
