Redbeard, Ingeniux In Deal

SAN DIEGO-Redbeard Communications, a brand strategy and creative design firm, has entered into a strategic alliance with Seattle-based Ingeniux Corporation, a provider of XML-based web content management software. Together the companies developed a value-based content management solution exclusively for credit unions. Ingeniux Contact Management System (CMS) provides a centralized solution to manage websites and standardize site design, the companies said. Its browser-based software allows users to author and edit web pages without using HTML or complex programming languages. This solution, combined with Redbeard's branding and design expertise, will offer credit unions a well-designed, highly functional Website at an economical price, they added.

Summit, Array Networks Agree

CORVALLIS, Ore.-Summit Information Systems has entered into an agreement with Array Networks, a provider of secure application deployment appliances, to offer Summit Branch Suite customers a new low-cost hardware option that improves the scalability and performance of Branch Suite applications. Currently in use at 10 Summit customer sites, the Array Networks TMX 1100 offers Branch Suite users load balancing, SSL acceleration, compression, caching, and other essential functions into a single, powerful solution, the company said.

Summit reported the TMX 1100 is an entry-level application front end that reduces the load on servers and improves response times. "The easy-to-learn GUI interface provides valuable Branch Suite server utilization statistics. Designed to work with up to 10 servers, the TMX 1100 is ideal for Branch Suite customers who have smaller end-user server traffic requirements and want to optimize performance while minimizing their hardware investment," it stated.

Array Networks will demonstrate the TMX 1100 at the Summit Client Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
