Discover Financial Billing Via Fiserv

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv reported that Discover Financial Services is now offering electronic bills through the more than 3,000 banks and credit unions in the Fiserv bill payment network. Cardmembers who pay their Discover bill online at their financial institution website will see an icon notifying them that a paperless, electronic version of their bill is now available at that site, and will be able to sign up for the service immediately, the company said.

Panini Adds Mac Interface

DAYTON, Ohio-Panini, a payments processing technology provider, has announced the availability of a Mac interface for its check scanners designed for remote deposit capture (RDC). "The solution is the first to offer native support in the Mac environment along with true MICR capture allowing Mac-based small businesses the ability to capitalize on the many advantages and efficiencies available with RDC," the company said.

Strong Sales At Guardian Analytics

LOS ALTOS, Calif.-Guardian Analytics, a provider of behavioral analytics fraud prevention software, said that during 2010 it reported 150% year-over-year growth in financial institutions adopting its FraudMAP solution, 100% customer renewals of its subscription-based service, and 134% revenue growth H2 2010 over H1 2010.

3 CUs Choose MemberEdge Mobile

PASADENA, Calif.-Wescom Resources Group (WRG) reported that three new credit unions have launched the CUSO's MemberEdge Mobile Banking solution, bringing to more than 20 the number that have purchased the mobile solution since its release in early 2010. The new clients: Alliant Credit Union, Baxter Credit Union (both in Chicago, and Unitus Community CU in Portland, Ore. Each deployment has included the release of a credit-union branded iPhone application, plus customized capabilities to address the unique needs of their members.

ACCEL/Exchange Sees Big Volume

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv, said its ACCEL/Exchange(R) debit payments network saw record-setting growth in 2010, with an increase in total transactions of almost 29% from 2009. In addition, ACCEL/Exchange established a new annual record for total transactions with more than 1.2 million transactions processed in 2010. Among individual payment channels, point-of-sale (POS) transactions grew nearly 30% to more than 1.15 billion, with ATM transactions also increasing 22% over the same period to 82 million.
