'AlertMe' Makes its Debut

FRISCO, Texas-IntegraSys, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. and provider of information technology services to credit unions, has launched AlertMe, a consumer credit monitoring tool that credit unions can use to help members manage their financial affairs.The solution tracks credit bureau activity and provides timely updates to subscribers, giving them the opportunity to take early action to limit errors and financial loss resulting from inaccurate entries or unauthorized activity, the company said.

PFCU Chooses Intrusion Inc.

RICHARDSON, Texas-Intrusion Inc. has been selected by Partners Federal Credit Union for its Compliance Commander privacy enforcement system. Compliance Commander integrates with the credit union's data network to silently monitor all traffic for transmission of unencrypted non-public information. Typically placed directly behind the financial institution's perimeter firewall, Compliance Commander sits in-line with the traffic monitoring all ports and protocols and instantly blocks illegal transmissions.

Two CUs Move To USERS

VALLEY FORGE, Penn.-USERS Incorporated, a unit of Fiserv, Inc., announced that Credit Union 1 of Rantoul, Ill. has selected its DataSafe core processing system.

The $402-million credit union, which will convert to USERS in April 2006, said it chose USERS for its Cross-Selling Manager solution to help bolster the CU's cross selling success.

Separately, USERS reported that Merck Sharp & Dohme FCU in North Wales, Penn. will convert to USERS' DataSafe system in December 2005. The $270-million credit union serves 22,000 members.

Like many of its peers, Merck cited USERS' browser-based software as one of the most important factors in its decision to convert to USERS.

"With USERS, we can pick and choose the best specialty solutions on the market and integrate them with the core system," said David Whitehead, the credit union's chief executive officer.

BECU Launches CRM Initiative

TUKWILA, Wash.-BECU has launched a service relationship initiative through Microsoft's CRM solution the CU is calling its Member Care Framework. The solution will allow BECU to gather information on how members access its products and services to create a more tailored and automated offering to its members. Avanade, a technology integrator for Microsoft solutions, will deploy Microsoft CRM for BECU.

MontegoNet, CU Tech Partner

PORTSMOUTH, R.I.-MontegoNet has teamed up with CUTech to continue its expansion in the CU market.

Under the terms of the agreement, CUTech will market MontegoNet's iBank kiosk to to CUTech's credit union customers.

MontegoNet's iBank kiosk enables credit unions to provide members with secure access to online banking, check reordering, loan applications, and other interactive content within branch lobbies.

MontegoNet has developed iBank kiosks for a number of CUTech clients, including Achieva Credit Union, Credit Union 1, First Resource Federal Credit Union, New England Federal Credit Union, and Teacher Federal Credit Union.
