MONETT, Mo. - (11/24/04) -- Jack Henry & Associates saidTuesday it has acquired Optinfo Inc., a provider of software andservices that help financial institutions reduce risks associatedwith their financial and operational data. Optinfo's EnterpriseException Management Suite is used by some large banks andbrokerage firms for reconciliation, exception processing, andmanagement of major data elements. Jack Henry said it plans toretain the 125 employees at Optinfo's Charlotte, N.C.,headquarters. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
