Tracie G. Kenyon, president and CEO of the Montana Credit Union Network has been named to the board of trustees of Western CUNA Management School.
"Tracie's career experience, and her dedication to political advocacy and to bringing affordable financial services to the nation's unbanked, will add valuable insights into the kinds of knowledge that credit union managers need to have in today's marketplace," said Vincent Rojas, CEO of Kern Schools FCU, and chairman of the board of trustees.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
The first-quarter increase involved commercial real estate loans, including some problematic multifamily loans and an office credit, but none of the criticized loans were to consumers, officials at the Dallas company say. Further CRE deterioration is anticipated.
