CLEVELAND - (06/01/05) -- KeyCorp said it signed with GenpassInc., manager of the MoneyPass EFT Network, to provide access toMoneyPass's 12,000 ATMs through KeyCorp's agent bank/credit unionprogram. More than 150 financial institutions, half of them creditunions, have signed as KeyCorp agents, giving theirmember/customers surcharge-free access to Key's network of 2,200ATMs. Under the Genpass deal, the MoneyPass network will now becomea part of Key's ATM sales network and will be available to any newor existing agent institution choosing to add the service to itsprogram. Genpass recently agreed to be acquired byMinneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp. MoneyPass has surcharge-free accessarrangements with the Illinois CU League and Credit Union 24 EFTnetwork.
