Large-Print Type Offered To Older Members

Denali Alaskan FCU said it will begin offering large-type statements to members who have problems reading their monthly statements. The new statements are being offered through a partnership with its statement printer, Alaska laser Printing and Mailing Services.

"With membership groups such as the Mable T. Caverly Senior Center and the AARP, we thought it was a natural opportunity to offer members who may have reading problems with a solution to their concerns," said DAFCU CEO Bob Teachworth. "We understand the additional cost of paper and postage will add to our monthly costs, but it's a small price to pay to maintain our 'MemberPlus Service' commitment to members."

Members interested in the new service are being urged to call the $275-million Denali Alaskan's Electronic Services Department.
