Let Your Blackberry Find You AnATM

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - (10/04/05) -- Research In Motion, the maker of thepopular handheld PDA, said Monday it has teamed with MapQuest Inc.and Sprint to deliver a GPS-enabled wireless service that willallow users of the BlackBerry 7520 to find their credit union orbank branch or the nearest ATM. 'MapQuest Find Me' will let usersautomatically find their location, access maps and directions andlocate nearby points of interest including airports, hotels andrestaurants, as well as ATMs. It will also allow users to sharetheir location with colleagues, friends and family members as wellas view the location of other users who have opted to join theirprivate networks. Users also can now set up alerts to be notifiedwhen network members arrive or depart from a designatedarea.
