TUKWILA, Wash. - (02/28/05) -- Boeing Employees CU said it isexpanding its School-Aid program, providing donations for each newcredit union member, across the state. The program, through whichBECU donated $5 for every new member, raised $35,000 for areaschools last year. The money was used to buy musical instruments,books and a bilingual curriculum, among other things. This year,the $5 billion credit unions aid it will donate $5 for every newmember who joins at one of its Express Service Centers in 33communities from March 1 through April 30. Each participatingschool will also be provided access to the credit union's'Savertooths' Amazing Savings Adventure' financial literacycurriculum.
