Maine Sen. Breakfasts With CUs

Maine Sen. Susan Collins met with more than 50 credit union representatives here at a breakfast held in her honor by the Maine CU League. Collins, an early supporter of HR 1151, called herself not just a "supporter but a member." The breakfast was held to assist Collins, who is running for re-election.

"I value the support of credit unions and the relationships that I have formed with many of the credit union leaders around the state," Collins told the meeting. "I want to tell you how proud you should be of the service and commitment you provide to the people of Maine. There is a credit union difference and it is what makes credit unions strong."
