METRO CU’s Got Art

WARREN, Mich. - (04/17/06) – The lobby of METRO CU wasturned into an art exhibit this month. Members will have a chanceto enjoy paintings, sculpture, jewelry and pottery created by fourarea high schools while performing their financial business throughthe end of the month as the $225 million credit union conducts itsseventh annual ‘Celebration of Student Art.’ More than100 students have displayed their work, which is on view to bothcredit union members and the public until April 27. Cash prizeswere awarded to the best pieces, as judged by a three-member panelof local arts professionals.
