Missouri FOM HearingPostponed

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - (07/27/04) -- A hearing that was to be heldyesterday in Cole County Circuit Court regarding credit union fieldof membership (FOM) has been postponed until Aug. 4. The state'sbanking industry is appealing the approvals of FOM expansions forseveral credit unions by the Missouri Division of Credit Unions,and have filed a number of motions. Credit unions, in turn, havefiled motions to have the bankers' motions dismissed.
