More Than 1 Million Members Use PCU Internet

USERS, Inc. said that the number of members using its PCU Internet Banking solution has now passed one-million. The service was launched in 1998 and today is used by more than 200 credit unions in both the in-house and on-line/ASP environments. "Home banking continues to be the 'must-have' service among credit union members-turning the dream of anytime, anywhere access into a reality," said Randy Riesenberg, USERS' VP of Product Services.

PCU is the central solution in USERS' comprehensive Internet Suite, which includes Internet BillPayer, WebLoan, e-Documents, e-Mail Services, and Internet Branding. The company said that PCU's continued growth in market share stems from several trends: credit unions converting to USERS' core system are converting to PCU at the same time; a number of USERS' current clients are switching from other suppliers' solutions to PCU; and across the board, those that use PCU are seeing steady growth in adoption among members.

Separately, Users, Inc. drew more than 200 people to its Users Group meeting in Philadelphia. Among the conference's highlights were sessions aimed at soliciting client input. With more than 200 attendees expected, the conference offers many "Birds of a Feather" networking sessions, each of which focused on a targeted topic. Credit union participants lead the discussion, with USERS' representatives observing.

Among this year's eight Birds of a Feather topics are workflow, risk-based pricing, and e-accounts. Discussed separately were courtesy payment, cross selling, Internet services, and lending, along with sessions on USERS' browser-based Lending Navigator, Internet Suite, and the Access RMS optical system.
