More Than 400 In Attendance At USERS' Meeting

USERS Inc. drew more than 440 attendees for its EdCon 2003, the company's 20th annual educational conference. The meeting is one of two annual, national meetings that bring together USERS' credit union clients to share best practices, network with their peers, and learn new ways to harness technology to achieve their business goals.

EdCon 2003 offered attendees 25 different conference sessions that demonstrated what USERS is calling its "partnership approach." Among the initiatives discussed:

* Courtesy Pay Manager, which USERS said streamlines the administration of a courtesy overdraft program by automatically paying presented items based on criteria and limits set by the credit union;

* E-Mail Services, which USERS said greatly reduces the labor and other costs associated with managing member e-mail communications, through a solution that's fully automated and integrated with USERS' core DataSafe system.

* Commercial Processing, an upcoming release that will support a broad array of commercial processing applications and capabilities for both loans and deposits.

Additional sessions at the meeting also explored enhancements to USERS' most widely adopted products, such as the Internet Suite (used by nearly 200 credit unions) and the browser-based Navigator solutions (used by more than 104 credit unions), while others were topical in nature, offering insights on how to improve lending efficiency or achieve a paperless lending operation.

USERS' 2004 User Group Meeting will held April 20-21, 2004 in Philadelphia. For info: www.users.com.
