NASCUS Launches Formal Search For CEO

The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) has formed a search committee to find a candidate to fill its president-CEO position. Iowa Superintendent James Forney is chairing the committee. The job has been vacant following the termination of Doug Duerr.

Ten-year NASCUS veteran Mary Martha Fortney is currently acting as president of the trade group, which includes the the NASCUS Credit Union Council.

In addition to Forney, the search committee includes three other state regulators (North Carolina, Missouri and Washington), and three credit union CEOs (Grace Mayo, Jim Blaine and C. Michael Litzau). NASCUS Chairman Roger Little is an ex officio member of the committee.
