VIENNA, Va. - (12/20/04) -- Brian McDonnell ended 35 years atNavy FCU, the last eight as president and CEO, Friday when hehanded control of the helm to Cutler Dawson, a Vice Admiral in theU.S. Navy. Dawson, chief financial officer for the Navy, has servedthe nation's largest credit union as director and volunteer boardmember off and on for 16 years. During his service as head of NavyFCU McDonnell, 60, doubled the size of the giant credit union to$22.8 billion in assets.
